For example, if my HRV is lower than usual, it’s usually my body’s way of saying, “Take it easy!” On days when my HRV is higher, I feel more ready to tackle a busy schedule or a longer daily walk.

Wearable rings, like the Oura Ring, are another option for those who prefer a subtler, more low-profile device. I like my smartwatch because I don’t like wearing rings.
